They were not pokemon people. In fact they worked as workers at a Pokemart. They were a very happy family together and she grew up just as a regular child would with her three other brothers and sisters. It was when she turned ten years old that tragedy struck. Sleeping in her bed of pokemon sheets Jam heard a strange noise. It was screaming but cut short she could not be certain what exactly it had been. Sitting up she rubbed at her eyes before another sound reached her. It was the sound of flames. Bolting up, she pulled her blanket over her and ran in to the living room. Only to find her family dead on the floor, flames lapping at there body. Stunned she fell back against the wall. This is where they found her when the flames died down. Crouched against the singed wall with her head between her knees. Muttering over and over something that they could not understand. She was brought to the hospital and that was when she met her savior, a Slowpoke. His tail had been removed from Team Rocket's doing and was at Slowpoke had been a wild pokemon but it took him a while to figure out that he was captured by her. He became her pillow and constant companion. When his tail grew back she took to dragging him across the floor with it as apposed to letting him walk. The dimwitted Slowpoke didn't mind the mistreatment and was quickly named Quaggy, meaning soft and watery as a describing word. When she was discharged they allowed her to take the Slowpoke as a means of protection. Although with her trauma came a dark thought that has pressed it's self against her mind. Even Quaggy has yet to prove to her that she herself is not dead.
